The quality of Etanchal membranes' components being a major criterion for performance, strict quality control tests are carried out at different levels. As soon as they are supplied to the factory, all the raw materials are tested to check out their conformity with the required specifications.

Every bitumen batch is thoroughly tested so as to be approved or not by the laboratory. Throughout the automated production line, the impregnation, the frame centering, the finishing, the dimensional uniformity as well as other appearance characteristics are checked out at different stages.

Samples of finished products are randomly taken and tested in the quality control laboratory for their tensile strength, their elongation at break, their flexibility at low temperatures and other properties. Every Etanchal item is thus produced in accordance with international standards such as UEAtc, AFNOR, ASTM, and BS.
